Cheese Diablo Wafers - Hotappetizers, cheese 1 cup unbleached flour 1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Mix all ingredients and shape in 1-inch balls. Arrange about 2 inches apart on baking sheet and bake in very hot oven (450øF) about 6 minutes. Serve hot or cool. Makes about 4 dozen |
