Beef Biscuits

3 can refrigerated biscuits
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 oil for frying

Brown beef, onion and pepper. Stir in sauce and seasonings, mixing well. Roll out each biscuit into a 5" circle. Place 1 rounded tablespoon meat mixture on each; flod in half and seal with tines of fork. Fry about 3" of oil to 375F. Deep fry each biscuit until golden brown; drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
