Pinata Pumpkin Chili

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion; chopped
1 garlic clove; minced
16 oz solid pack pumpkin
2 cup water
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup cheddar cheese; shredded
1 cup corn chips; crushed
1/2 cup sour cream
1 red pepper flakes -=or=-
1 hot pepper sauce

In 3 quart saucepan, cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Drain. Add pumpkin, water, taco seasoning, chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil. Cover; simmer 30 minutes. Season with red pepper flakes or hot pepper sauce. Garnish with cheese, corn chips and sour cream. NOTE: May add 16 oz red kidney beans; drained.
