Oatmeal Drop Biscuits

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1 each egg; beaten
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
Stir thoroughly the flour, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Combine egg, milk, and honey; add all at once to dry mixture. Stir just till moistened. Drop b spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
