Brown Bread #1
breads
1/2 cup molasses
1 sugar
1 each egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pint milk; sour
1 cup flour; white
1 quart graham flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 cup raisins
Measure 1/2 - 3/4 c. molasses, filling remainder of cup with sugar. Roll raisins in flour before adding to batter. Bake in very slow oven 1 1/2 hours.
Note: Very slow oven is 240 - 350 F.
