Dede's Buttermilk Breadbreadmaker, breads 1 1/8 cup buttermilk or 4 tablespoon dry buttermilk powder and 1 1/8 cup water 1 (for welbilt/dak machines 1 add 2 t more buttermilk) 3 cup bread flour 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 3 tablespoon honey 1/4 teaspoon baking soda* 1 1/2 teaspoon red star active dry yeast * Prodigy "research" has shown that if using powdered buttermilk we should omit the baking soda.
