April Victoria's Lavender Faerie Cookies

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon finely chopped lavender - flowers
1 1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 375 F. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla; stir in the dry ingredients until well blended. Drop by half-teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet.
