Apple Onion Rye Abmbreads ----BEST BREAD MACHINE CB EVER---- 2 1/4 teaspoon yeast 1 7/8 cup bread flour 1 1/2 cup rye flour 1/3 cup cracked wheat 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar 1/2 tablespoon salt 1/2 tablespoon caraway seeds 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 medium onions; chopped 1 large apples; chopped 3 tablespoon butter 1/2 cup water Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order. Set "baking control" at 10 o'clock. Select "white bread" and push Start. In hot & humid weather, use 1/8 c less water. This barely sweet, fruity rye tastes good with scrambled eggs or in a turkey sandwich. For tea sandwiches, slice thin and spread with cream cheese and toasted sliced almonds. Tested in DAK R2D2.
