Applesauce Nut Bread

----BREAD----
1 cup sugar
1 cup applesauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoon eggs
3 teaspoon milk
2 cup sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup chopped pecans
----TOPPING----
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine sugar, applesauce, oil, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Add to applesauce mixture and beat until well combined. Stir in pecans. Turn batter into well greased loaf baking pan. For topping, combine brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cap loosely with foil after the first 30 minutes of baking. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
