Nick's Sugar Cookiesbiscuits 1 cup sugar 1 cup shortening 2 eggs 2 1/2 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla Mix all ingredients together. Form into balls. Flatten with a glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
