My Chili Sauce


relishes

6 quart tomatoes
3 medium onions
4 tablespoon salt
4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup vinegar(any kind)

Skin tomatoes. Put everything in a large kettle and boil until thick, stirring often so it doesn't stick. Put in sterilized jars and seal. Boiling takes a couple of hours until it is good and thick. Taste when it's pretty well done and add sugar or vinegar to taste. Makes about 6 pints.
