Peggy's Mom's Chili Sauce


relishes

12 quart basket of tomatoes
12 single good sized onions
2 single sweet peppers
3 single hot peppers
1 single celery stalk
3 lb sugar
5 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon mustard
1 pinch white wine vinegar
1/4 lb whole pickling spice
1 (in cheesecloth bag)

Chop all vegetables and put in a large pickling pot. Add remaining ingredients and boil for about 3 hours or longer if you want it thicker. From the kitchen of Peggy and Bruce Travers,Cyberealm BBS Watertown NY 315-786-1120
