1.50 lb pork shoulder steak (1/2- thick); cut into strips
1.00 tablespoon oil
1.00 medium onion, sliced
1.00 small green pepper, cut into strips
4.00 oz can mushrooms, drained
8.00 oz can tomato sauce
3.00 tablespoon brown sugar
1.50 tablespoon vinegar
0.50 teaspoon salt
2.00 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
3.00 cup hot, cooked rice
In a skillet, brown pork strips in oil. Drain on paper towels. Put pork strips and all remaining ingredients, except rice, in Crock-Pot. Cover; cook on Low 6-8 hours (High: 4 hours). Serve over rice. 6 servings. Source: Rival Crockpot Booklet. MM: Lyn.
