Crockpot Barley
grains, low fat
1 cup brown rice
1 cup barley
6 carrots, chunked
1 onion, chopped
1/2 lb mushrooms, chopped
1 dash of garlic spice blend
8 cup water
I bought Mary McDougals cookbook #II and adapted this recipe for grains.
into the crockpot I put ingredients, put a lid on it and cook on low overnight.
