Date-nut Logs

1 tablespoon butter, softened
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoon nonfat dry milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
1 cup finely cut dates
1 cup chopped nuts
Servings: 1 1/4 pounds
DIRECTIONS: Blend butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Add nonfat dry milk, salt, sugar and dates. Mix well, and shape in small rolls. Dip each roll in nuts. (If nuts don't stick, moisten rolls with corn syrup.)
