Marshmallow Fudge

2 cup brown sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 oz chocolate
1 cream of tartar; a pinch
1 cup water
1/4 cup marshmallows

Cook all ingredients, except marshmallows to soft ball stage. Remove from fire and beat until creamy. Add marshmallows cut up. Pour into buttered pan, mark in squares. Source: Ethel Edwards, Hillgrove Grange, Darke County, OH
