Applesauce Cake 1cakes, penndutch 1 cup applesauce, unsweetened 1/2 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar, light 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon cloves 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1 cup raisins 1/4 teaspoon salt Mix butter, sugar, salt and spices. Add flour and applesauce in which soda has been dissolved. Add the raisins. Pour into an oblong, wellgreased pan and bake at 350 F about 35 minutes. |
