Chocolate Syrup

1/3 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup baking cocoa
6 tablespoon water
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
3 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine corn syrup, cocoa and water in saucepan. Cook over low heat until well blended, stirring constantly. Add sugar, salt and milk. Simmer for 7 to 8 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Beat in butter and vanilla. Serve over desserts.
