Mock Devonshire Clotted Cream

1 pkg (3 oz) cream cheese
1 cup heavy or whipping cream
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor, until thick (food processor works best). Serve with preserves on warm scones. Keep refrigerated.
