Large Birthday Cakecakes, desserts 3 cup cake flour 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 3/4 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup shortening 1 3/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 1/4 cup milk 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla Cream sugar and shortening and add the eggs and beat 2 minutes. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with the milk and vanilla. Pour into greased pan lined with wax paper and bake in 350 F oven for 30 -35 minutes for layers and 45 - 50 minutes if using 13x 9 1/2 x 2 in. pan. |
