Dill Pickles

1 quart cider vinegar
3 quart cold water
1 cup pickling salt
----INGREDIENTS PER JAR----
1 large clove garlic
2 heads dill
1 small red pepper - optional
1 small cucumbers

Sterilize quart 0jars....Pack the garlic, dill, red pepper and small cucumbers into the hot sterilized jars. Bring brine to boil and pour over packed quart jars; seal immediately. Let age 2 months. Hard water makes soft pickles; soft water makes crispy pickles. These pickles were blue ribbon winners at a fair. This is a FREE FOOD....
