Ginger Sherry Pork Chops

1/3 cup dry sherry
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon gingerroot; finely chopped
1 teaspoon honey
1 garlic clove; finely chopped
4 butterfly pork chops; 1" thick
Mix all ingredients except pork in shallow glass dish.
Place pork in dish -- turn to coat with marinade.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Remove pork from marinade -- reserve marinade.
Cover and grill 4-5" from medium coals, 14-16 minutes, brushing occasionally with marinade and turning once, until no longer pink in center.
