Apricot Or Peach Glaze

1 cup apricots or peaches
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons salad oil
1/4 teaspoon Liquid smoke; (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon finely chopped green onions

Puree fruits or place in electric blender until smooth. Add remaining ingredients in saucepan and simmer 8 to 12 minutes. Makes about 1 1/3 cups. Baste on barbecuing chicken, lamb or pork during last 20 minutes cooking time. Posted to the BBQ List by Carey Starzinger on Aug 22, 1996.
