Double Chocolate Treasures

2 cup flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg 10 oz large semisweet
1 chocolate pieces or 2 - 12
1 oz packages small pieces
3/4 cup chopped pecans or other nuts

Preheat oven to 350F. In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter with sugars, vanilla, and then add eggs. Mix flour mixture with butter mixture. Add chocolate and nuts. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 9-12 minutes. Very rich and very good.
