Bean Dip
appetizer, low-cal, low-fat, vegetables
1/4 cup diced green chiles
4 each green onions,chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup unsalted tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 can vegetarian refried beans*
* 30 oz. can. Use low sodium beans if available or better still,make your own. Combine chiles, tomato sauce, onions and seasonings in a sauce pan and cook until onions are tender. Add beans and simmer until warmed through.
