Garlicky Broiled Chicken

1/3 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup dry white wine
6 centiliter garlic; minced or pressed
2 bay leaves; crumbled
2 chicken breasts; skinned, boned & split(1
2 large red bell peppers; seeded and cut into 1 1/2
3/4 lb medium-size mushrooms; halved

In a shallow bowl, stir together lemon juice, oil, wine, garlic, and bay leaves. Rinse and drain chicken; add to marinade and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 1 day, turning chicken occasionally. Lift chicken from marinade; reserve marinade. Place chicken on a rack in broiler pan. Broil 4 inches below heat for 15 minutes, basting with marinade and turning as needed to cook evenly. Arrange bell peppers and mushrooms alongside chicken, baste lightly, and continue to broil until chicken is no longer pink in thickest part; cut to test (about 5 more minutes).
