Low Fat Chili


beef, low-fat

1/2 lb 7% fat ground beef
3/4 cup low sodium kidney beans, can
8 oz tomato sauce
1/3 cup onion; chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper; chopped
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
1 small tomato; chopped
1 cup water

Recipe by: Misty Simon Brown ground beef in 2 quart saucepan. Drain and rinse; return to saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until green peppers are tender. Serve wit "99% fat free skillet cornbread". 3 servings approx 1 cup each. Nutrition per serving: 223 cals 6 g fat.
