Spread, Beef, Dried Lc1.4
appetizer- spread, meat- beef
1 lb cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 lb dried beef; diced medium
2 tbs onions, dried
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce; or to taste
Mix cream cheese and sour cream in Kitchen Aid until well blended.
Mix in Worcestershire sauce.
Stir in dried onions and dried beef.
Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours, better after 24 hours.
NOTES : Consistency can be altered adding more sour cream if to be used as a dip rather than a spread.
I also occasionally add chives for color relief. Yields approx. 2.5 cups.
I use a smoked dried beef product from Vogetz in Hubbard, OR.
