Ground Beef Jerky, Smoked Lc-0.6/s

2.5 lbs ground beef, ex-ex ln (7%)
3 tablespoon Brown Sugar Twin
1 teaspoon garlic powder; (opt)
6 tablespoon soy sauce
6 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon liquid smoke

Mix meat with the salt for a while to release the protein and make a little bit sticky so that it holds it shape. Then mix in rest of ingredients. I find it works best to just press the mixture on the tray of the dehydrator (using the solid liner) about 3/8 inch thick. This mixture is quite juicy but dries well. I use a scissor to cut into pieces after it is dry.
