Quiche, Sausage, Cheesy Lc-5.1/s (!)
dairy- cheese, egg- quiche, meat- sausage
3/4 lb pork sausage
1/2 cup onion; chopped
1/3 cup green bell peppers; chopped
1 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, sharp; shredded
1 tbs flour
2 large eggs; beaten
1 cup cream, heavy; sub for evap milk
1 tbs parsley, dried
3/4 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium skillet fry sausage until cooked. Remove sausage; drain on paper towels. Reserve 2 tablespoons of sausage drippings and saute onions and green pepper in sausage drippings. Combine cheese and flour. Stir in sausage, green pepper, and onion. Spread in pie plate. Mix remaining ingredients and pour into pie plate. Bake on a cookie sheet, 35 to 40 minutes or until browned and filling is set.
