Pancakes, Almond Lc-6.4/s
bread- pancake & waffle, nuts & seeds
1/2 cup almond flour
1 large egg
1/4 cup cream, heavy
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon oil
Don't let the almond flour scare you away from this one. Go find some online or in the health food store. It's not cheap but if you are really missing pancakes you will love this recipe. I did a little dance around the kitchen when I tasted these (that's how good they are). Even my husband liked them.. and he considers himself a pancake connoisseur :)
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together into a bowl. Add the egg, cream and oil, whisk until well mixed.
Cook just like regular pancakes. Served with butter, your favorite no carb syrup and a big hunk of ham or some slices of bacon and this will make for a very filling breakfast.
