Crackers, "triscuits", Tooter's Tofu Lc-5.3/tot
bread- cracker, veg- legumes- soy
1 pkg (12 oz) tofu, extra-firm
Buy a block of extra firm Tofu. Slice it the thickness of melba toast.
Have oil hot in a pan (Or use a deep fryer). Ok....you fry them in the oil and keep flipping them. I actually took two out too soon. They were golden brown...but still soft in the middle. The "KEY" to knowing they are done...is they will fry up CRISP in the pan and will not bend at all. The result is a crispy, Crunchy cracker that taste like a triscuit.
