Bohemian Stew
beef, main dish
2 1/2 lb beef stew meat
2 cup chopped carrots
2 cup chopped celery
3 each onions, cut up
3 tablespoon tapioca
1 tablespoon sugar
1 can tomatoes (28 oz size)
1 cup diced potatoes
2 each bay leaves
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup hot water
Combine all ingredients into heavy cookware. Bake covered at 250 degrees F for five hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with dumplings or boiled potatoes or buttered noodles.
