Beef Barley Skillethamburger, meats 1/4 lb hamburger 4 tablespoon chopped onion 2 tablespoon chopped celery 2 tablespoon chopped green pepper 1/8 teaspoon tyme 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon worchestershire sauce 1 1/2 tablespoon chile sauce 2/3 cup canned tomatoes 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup pearl barley, salt&pepper Saute beef, onion, celery and green pepper. Pour off fat and stir in rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil then turn down heat and simmer until barley is cooked. |
