Pheasant In Spiced Sour Cream
meats
1 pheasant, cut up
1 flour
1 butter
8 oz carton sour cream
16 oz water
1 worcestershire sauce f/taste
1 few drops tabasco sauce
2 bay leaves
1 dash sweet basil
1 dash rosemary
1 salt and pepper
Dust pieces of pheasant with flour and brown in butter. Mix sour cream and water. Add remaining ingredients to sour cream mixture. Pour sour cream mixture in a covered roaster and add pheasant. Steam for several hours at 325F until tender.
