Barbecue Sauce

12 oz ketchup
4 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon molasses
2 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon barbecue spice rub
2 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon smoke flavoring
Combine all ingredients well. Place in small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reducew heat and simmer, uncovered for one hour. Variations: add cayenne pepper for hotter sauce. Increase liquid smoke for smokier sauce.
