Dijon Vinaigrette

1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/8 teaspoon coarse black pepper
1 clove garlic -- crushed
2 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine all the ingredients in a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake well. Makes 1.5 cups
