1 cup dry white wine
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon salt,
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 lb grated gruyere cheese; (abou
1- ea 9"pie crust Saute in butter till soft, remove from heat & set aside. Combine eggs, wine, cream, salt, pepper & nutmeg. Spread 1 cup of cheese on bottom of pastry shell, cover with onions and top with remaining cheese. Pour cream mixture over cheese and onions.
