Fresh Tomato Relish

1/2 medium onion; cut into pieces
1/2 medium green bell pepper; cut into pieces
1/4 cup vinegar
2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
2 medium tomatoes; cut up

Put the onion, green pepper, vinegar,sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper in a blender container and blend until the pepper and onion are coarsely chopped. Add the tomatoes and blend until coarsely chopped. Chill and drain before serving. Yield: 1 1/4 Cups Letts, "Jams, Pickles & Chutneys"
