1 1/2 lb young carrots
8 oz sliced apples
1 oz white vinegar
1 oz honey
1 cup water
2 oz butter
1 salt & pepper

Peel carrots and apples. toss in melted butter, add honey and vinegar and cook for 4 minutes. Add water and boil for 20 minutes. Allow liquid to evaprate as much as possible. Season to taste.
