Breakfast Steel-cut Oats

2 cup ; water
1/2 teaspoon salt (opt'l.)
1 cup steel-cut oats

Bring water to a rolling boil. Add salt; then slowly stir in oats. Cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes or until tender. Serve with a pat of butter, milk or cream, and sweeten with honey, natural fruit or syrup. Recipe on back of 24 oz. bag of Arrowhead Mills brand steel-cut oats.
